Guarachi Wine Partners announced today the launch of a new domestic product Black Ink Rosé.
Available nationwide in March 2017, this new varietal will be a line extension of the successful California red blend, Black Ink. Since its introduction in 2014, Black Ink has climbed the ranks to #7 in the U.S. $8-$9 Red Blend category, according to Nielsen.1 The brand is now ready to capitalize on the rapidly growing Rosé trend.
Black Ink is a wine that breaks with tradition, celebrating artistic expression and the tattoo culture. Its Rosé packaging includes original artwork of a rose designed by famed tattoo artist, Amy Nicoletto of the TLC show, “LA Ink.” In conjunction with this product launch, there will be a national promotion to win a free tattoo by Amy Nicoletto.
“I was really happy to work on this project with Black Ink, as it gave me the chance to have my tattoo art seen in a new way. There’s no greater honor than being trusted to tattoo your art onto another person’s body, but to see my work on a bottle of wine and for it to be seen on the shelves of stores around the country is super exciting,” said Nicoletto.
Black Ink Rosé has aromas of strawberry, watermelon and white flowers with flavors of pomegranate, cherry and peach. There is a nice balanced acidity, medium weight and clean finish. SRP $11.99.
